Gary Gygax the co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons along with Dave Arneson has passed away on March 4th 2008. Gary has recently been working with Troll Lord Games, a small paper and pencil RPG publisher. Troll Lords forums have up a post noting that he has passed away. ...

I've been in contact with various members of the computer and role-playing game industries over the past few years and with some before that and it's become my opinion that for the most part they are real jerks. They mostly seem to suffer from Comic Book Guy syndrome.
